Product Packaging

Sometimes, product packaging has it just right.

If you cannot see the image, it is just not funny. Sorry.

Truth in advertising

Carolyn and I both like pistachios. But I like pistachio pudding, and Carolyn does not. I have a theory as to why — it’s the color. I ate (and liked) pistachio pudding as a kid. It was yummy pudding, it was green, and you know, there were nuts in it, but no big deal. I just thought “pistachio” was a flavor of pudding — sort of just a synonym for “green.” It wasn’t until much later that I learned it was a (tasty) nut.

But I can see how if you came at it from the other direction, it might be a little off-putting. For example, I’m still having a hard time wrapping my mind around green ketchup.

I thought that too! About ice cream, though.
